Vincent van Gogh lived in London from May of 1873 to 1875.\u00a0 These were some of the best times of his life and made a significant impact on his art.\u00a0 You can read more about Vincent van Gogh in London<\/a> on our blog.\u00a0 However, if you\u2019re in the London, England area there is a talk coming up that you won\u2019t want to miss.<\/p>\n

On September 12, 2013 from 7:00-8:30pm, the Dutch Centre in London, England will present a talk titled \u201cHow I love London\u201d focusing on Van Gogh\u2019s time in Victorian London.\u00a0 Where he spent his time, where he lived, where you can walk in his footsteps and how his time in London impacted his art will all be touched on in this English presentation.<\/p>\n

The talk is based on Kristine Groenhart\u2019s book, How I love London \u2013 a travel guide for Vincent Van Gogh\u2019s London<\/em>.\u00a0 The book which is published in Dutch and officially titled, Hoe ik van London Houd- wandelen door het Londen van Vincent van Gogh<\/em>, was first released on June 18, 2013 and expects to have an English edition published eventually.<\/p>\n
